Best Budget Laptop For Web Browsing

I am learning to enjoy my ASUS 15.6 Vivobook. It is a replacement for my nearly 14 year old laptop that has seen better days. I am on a limited budget, but I didn't want mediocre specs that would be outdated in 6 months. I do mainly internet browsing, some productivity work (word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.), some low intensity gaming, and on occasion some video editing for my socials. Bottom line - You should probably get one while qtys and pricing are good. Pros - It has the specs I wanted (i9 CPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD) at a great price. More than enough computing power for gaming, casual internet browsing, and the occasional homework/essay. It included FREE 2-Day Shipping - I am on the West Coast. Screen colors are vibrant, keyboard is keyboard-y with backlit keys. The laptop itself is not the lightest out there, but is hardly the boat anchor ROG ASUS I still own that is on its last legs. It's offered thru a reputable dealer. Cons (ish) - Only 1920x1080 resolution and no touchscreen. I haven't really encountered any other negatives so far. It's been a while since I purchased MY own laptop. To be transparent, I have helped recommend and even purchased several laptops over the years for my family and friends. My previous-current laptop is a still-running ASUS G51J (i7 CPU 1st Gen, 6GB RAM, 500GB 2.5 HDD) - battery doesn't charge, but still works plugged in. I purchased it from B&H also circa 2010. Being a frugal tinkerer myself, but wanting the best value for my budget, I researched and compared several buying sources including big box stores, national (U.S.) retail chains and even Amazon, but I still chose B&H. Even though I am on the West Coast, I still found value in the products they offer as well as the service and buying experience. Did I mention FREE 2-Day shipping from the East Coast (NY). This is an excellent monitor. I have it mounted in portrait mode and connected to a mini PC for web browsing, email, and PDF viewing.

Don’t expect Samsung tv quality in these monitors because you are not paying as much for these. It does what it says it will. For the price and size it offers, it was a good deal for me.

It's a fantastic piece. To web browsing it's very, very good. It's most beatiful than all other mouses you can buy. To use with graphics, photos it's very good.

After using an Intuos 3 for many years I figured it was time for a new tablet. Wow! Am I happy I did. The tablet and pen are used every day for general web browsing and for photo editing. The express keys, along with the radial wheel, are so customizable that web browsing is far more convenient than using a mouse. The extensive customizing for photo editing is also great. I use it with Lightroom, Paintshop X7, Perfect Effects 9 and other editing software and have had no problems. My workflow is far more efficient than it was with my older tablet. Configuring the features can be daunting to first users so I'd suggestchecking out the many video tutorials.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I needed a TV with a built in web browsing features (not just Netflix, Disney and such) but a real web searching ability. The model easily filled that need along with having a great picture and surprisingly good sound.

Comparing to my mini 4, the mini 6 is noticeably faster particularly in web browsing and the battery life is much better. In addition, a brilliant idea to combine the Touch ID with the power button! Changing the port from lightening to Type-C is bit of annoying and it does cause some inconvenience to me for photo import/export but I can work around via Files.
