Best Buy Bluetooth Headset For Phone Conversations

I really like this headset, the fidelity is such that it is great both for phone conversations, as well as music playback.  Works both with my Polycom phones, connected direct to a softphone on my laptop, or disconnected and direct to my iPhone.  I find myself using this headset more than my earbuds, for playing music from my iPhone. Purchased this wired set, as I try to limit RF exposure.  My clients generally prefer the Plantronics Voyager Focus UC Headset B825, which is a reliable Bluetooth headset, but the sound quality is best for voice calls. I do recommend installing the Polycom computer application in order to adjust settings and provision firmware updates.

Unlike most people recently, I didn't buy this to work from home, but just to use on my cell phone because I have a hearing issue that makes phone conversations difficult for me to understand. This headset works fantastic! I haven't said what did you say? once since I started using it. People are telling me you're so CLEAR so it works both ways I guess. My only complaint is that after an hour or so of conversations my ears get a little sore from the pressure the headset exerts. Unlike the cheaper ones with an easily bendable piece over the head, these are pretty firm and can't really be made looser. Not a huge issue but my only complaint. Of course the price is fantastic for something that works this well.

Best bluetooth headset that I have had so far. I've gone through two sony headsets in the past few months and these are by far the best I've come across.

I use the product to conduct my phone conversations. It's light and very clear.

I'm using this mostly as a phone headset with a Fiio bluetooth adapter, for work teleconferences, but I also use it to listen to tunes. It works far better than it should for music, and it's comfortable. Very nice.

I like to use wired earphones with my mobile phone - just to keep things simple (Bluetooth is nice, and I have a superior Bluetooth headset, but sometimes it can get glitchy and I have to remember to charge it, etc.) I got a pair of these at B&H and decided it would be handy to have a spare in the bedroom... so I got another and, in addition got a pair for my sister to use with her phone.

It works, but it's odd how the volume seems muted from the Rode mic vs using a bluetooth headset or the built in mic on the phone.

This headset supports connectivity via USB for use as a PC headset and via Bluetooth for use with cell phone calls. The base makes it easy to switch between PC and Bluetooth. The bluetooth connection is between the base and the cell phone, with DECT to the headset. So you leave the phone on your desk and take the headset with you if you want to walk around. DECT has much better range than Bluetooth and is not affected by microwave ovens or WiFi, so calls are clear and consistent at all times.

This is not my first but is the first I bought with the charging case. If you buy the headset and charging case separate you don’t get the Bluetooth dongle which is another $50. If you buy it as a package, you get the charger, headset and Bluetooth dongle for less than you would pay for it individually. A good deal and a great headset.
