I have heard the sound quality of Bose speakers and happened to come upon this portable speaker. I thought I'd give a try because I was wanting something louder than what I already had. I'm glad I made that decision, the sound quality is excellent.

Received as a gift. Having had portable Bluetooth speakers from 2 other brands, the sound quality of my new Bose is noticeably better -- far better than I expected.

I have been using these speakers for some time now, and all I can say is that they have become my go-to speakers. Whether I am at home, in the office, or doing outdoor activities, I am always listening to music. That is why the speakers and headphones I use are very integral to my day to day. I own many pairs of portable speakers and put these up to the test. As far as the initial sound that I heard out of the box, it was a little underwhelming. However, that all changes when you utilize the EQ within the Bose app. It really shows the capability of what the Snapdragon Sound can do and puts everything into perspective on what these speakers have to offer. I listen to a wide variety of music and being able to customize it to what I'm listening to, and where I have been able to take them is the reason why I keep coming back to these speakers. The customizable handle is a huge added plus. They aren't small speakers, so the handle does come in very useful. The material feels nice in the hands and makes it very easy to transport and portable. It is such a small detail, but it really shows how much thought they put into making them, which makes them very functional. Compared to its size, they’re not as heavy as they look either. You can always count on Bose for quality sound and practicality.

I have a tech savvy friend that swears by Sonos, I have 3 Bose wireless speakers at home that I use in back yard and patio, and thought that it was great... Until I heared L5 at his house.... Holly smokes..you can hear every note with no back static and the base is so on point, just like you are at a club. My summer is coming along just fine:-)

We decided to go wireless and use Sonos to take away clutter and facilitate streaming and different music playback options in different rooms at the same time. We used to have an Onkyo 2 zone receiver running two amazing outdoor Bose speakers (prewired in our home) and a Bose Accousitmass 10 sorround system in our family room. To play the speakers outside we had to play the same thing in the Family room. It sounded good though. We replaced the Onkyo and indoor Bose surround with a Sonos Soundbar and we are 110% happy with that. We also bought a Sonos Amp to run the outdoor speakers. Now we can play different things in the different areas and the sound quality is phenomenal. The amp has more power and clarity than the old Onkyo receiver. I know this is a really expensive option, but for us, it was completely worth the investment!
