I use these as a Camera Slider Stabilized by adding a female 5/8" receiver with a male 3/8-16. Best stabilizer I have used to date.

Ideal for my stabilizer as it doesn't hinder stabilization. Best decision I could have made.

I use a NikonD200 with a Neoprene neck strap and the neoprene, flexible Stabilizer Strap (Op/Tech USA) around my chest when camera is not in use. The stabilizer precents the camera swaying when I am running, climbing, or otherwise active, even getting out of crowded vehicles. The stbilizer prevents the strap from impacting anything like branches, rock walls, furniture, or the person in the seat ahead of me. It permits the camera to instantly slip out of the stabilizer, leaving the strap in position./ The strap length is adjustable to fit over a bulky jacket or vest, and the snap-on ends make it easy to fit.The central lens opening can be enlarged to fit extremely wide diameter lenses. I canot imagine how it could be improved.

I have 3 of these on different plates and such to keep from having to remove the camera from the stabilizer, they are indispensable.

I use this with my Canon 60D with a RODE video mic attached to top shoe. Researched this product a lot before purchasing. I can usually film for about two minutes straight until my arm is fatigued enough that I need to take a break. For longer shots I recommend getting the vest and arm. I have tried the Sony NX5U (5 lbs. without battery) on this stabilizer, this is a bit too heavy to place on the device. Once again, great for DSLR (with/without vest and arm), not good for larger videocameras unless you have vest and arm. I am able to get awesome, smooth shots with this stabilizer. Everyone I have shown the footage to says, WOW! You will not regret this purchase, it is probably one of the best I have made recently. Took me about two hours to get perfectly balanced and now all I need to do is make fine adjustments now and then, which is so easy. If you are shooting with DSLR and are on the fence about this, get it, try it out, you will be impressed. It takes time to balance at first and then a lot of practice flying it. Once you get some experience with it you will want to use it often.

The HD2000 works well in eliminating those motion shakes. I use a DSLR and heavy lens which makes it even more shaky when used without a stabilizer. UPs: stabilizes and works well DOWNs: Heavy and really heavy depending on setup takes a while to set up and understanding the stabilizer. Do not be discouraged when first using, because it takes practice, especially with it rocking and it bumping into yourself.
