I'm fairly new to the world of prosumer cameras. I started my videography/photography journey with an iPhone. Last year, I made the switch to the GH6 and I recently bought this lens for a client shoot. First of all, I love how compact this thing is. It fits in the palm of my hand (no joke). It is incredibly sharp and I love the look of the f1.7 aperture. I still have a lot to learn on this journey, but I think this lens is going to make it fun! 5 |

Best everyday lens I have used in 20+ years of digital photography. Sharp and agile focus. Zoom range (36-105mm for APS-C cameras) and large aperture serve 90% of my needs indoors and outdoors. Weight would be a drawback for those who wear cameras like medallions on a necklace all day, but the output of this lens is well worth breaking that habit in some ergonomically sensible way. 5 |
