Best everyday lens I have used in 20+ years of digital photography. Sharp and agile focus. Zoom range (36-105mm for APS-C cameras) and large aperture serve 90% of my needs indoors and outdoors. Weight would be a drawback for those who wear cameras like medallions on a necklace all day, but the output of this lens is well worth breaking that habit in some ergonomically sensible way.

Bought the 11-18mm on Black Friday for my a6600 for vlogging and travel pics. I am really happy and impressed so far (3-weeks of steady use). Pictures are sharp, contrasty and good color. It works great with face focus when I'm recording video and mounts really well to the my DJI gimbal. Definitely recommend it!

I bought this for vlogging during all of my air travel in Business and First Class on international flights. I clip in my GoPro and clip it to my belt and I’m able to capture steady wide angle video walking into the airplane and to my seat. And easy to reposition, yet it has enough grip that it won’t move once in place. Also, the clip is small enough to fit in a pocket or in your luggage when not being used. I definitely recommend buying at least 2 of these! Happy filmmaking.

I bought three Sony ZV-1. That explains everything. For YouTube, vlogging, especially for travel when you want to go light, this is an excellent choice. I shoot 1080 only. Don't want to deal with 4K, large files, etc. 1080P for online consumption is good enough in my opinion. And this little one, boy oh boy it delivers. Put a small wireless mic and voila you look like a pro. Set it in Intelligent video and if you're a novice, will work fine. I've once forgot to plug in the wireless mic cable , so everything was recorded with the camera's internal mic. Didn't realize it till the shoot was over. I could tell the sound was not as good as the external mic, but was good enough for me to decide not to reshoot. In a pinch the internal mic. works surprisingly good, will save the day. Again I love the size of this little Sony and the quality of the image is real good. Well the Zeiss lens is great no doubt about. Again if you're vlogging, put content on Youtube, social media, travel, this is it. This thing is barely bigger then a credit card and much smaller than my phone. Has a 1 inch sensor, which does pretty good in low light also, much better than any phone that's probably $1200 or even more. Good for B roll. Conclusion. Get it!

Great vlogging or travel camera! Even shoots in RAW! I thought it was super awesome to have a camera this size in my bag or even around my wrist when traveling or even just day to day things that I may not want my phone out for
