Best Car Navigation System

I have been wanting a car mount for a while because I don't have CarPlay and use my phone for navigation. My hesitation has always been how bulky and ugly they generally are, but not so of this PD mount. With its small footprint and clean lines, it blends right into the dash (of a 2015 Passat). Keeps me from looking down to the shifter where my phone used to sit, so I'd say it's safer, too! 5 |

Even though I have navigation maps in my car, the Garmins I've had have always been far more accurate. This new Garmin DriveCam 76 is the best yet. The Dash Cam is really neat, along with features such as the collision avoidance when I get too close to the car in front of me, and it is speed dependent. There is also an alert for cars approaching on the sides. All the usual features traffic awareness, parking suggestions on your arrival make this the best Garmin navigation tool I have had. 5 |

I purchased a few of these to make a custom mount for my car to hold the iPhone I use for navigation away from the dashboard to keep my phone from overheating in the summer. Works perfectly. Stays tight and exactly where I want it. They also seem to be made well. 5 |

Just like other Garmin devices, their GPS Navigation System works perfect so far. Love how I can move it from one Car to another. 5 |

The menu navigation system makes sense and is easy to use. The function buttons can be customized. Auto-Focus is extremely fast, and really impressive compared to other cameras I have tried. The face & eye detection is cool to see in action. No more blurry faces when you get back to the editing room! The video in HD & 4K both look awesome, and the color grading when using F-Log is fun to play with. This camera was a great investment so far, and I am looking forward to using it more and more and experimenting with various lenses. Awesome camera! 5 |

I hadn't owned a portable navigation system in at least 10 years but I'm so glad I got one again. Bought it on a road trip where I was getting bad cell reception. Totally saved me!! Most people don't realize that your Google Maps and Waze apps on your smartphone don't connect with a satellite, they connect with a cell tower. So if you're phone reception is weak or non-existent you're going to be without navigation. Not only that but even when you do have reception the location beacon for Google Maps is often WAY off. Dangerously so. With the Garmin you never have to worry about any of that. It's accurate and precise. Great for rural areas! And great for people who travel off the interstates on a road trip! With the turn by turn navigation the voice tells you much more helpful instructions than you get in Google Maps or Waze! For example. At the 2nd traffic light, turn left, and then continue straight. Or In 500ft turn left at the Capital One. The traffic system works great and updates instantly in real time. Love the way it shows slightly sluggish traffic even if there's no accident or construction and shows free flowing traffic. Also it's really nice that there are no extra car attachments needed like with Sirius-XM for example. It's just the cigarette lighter power charger, the touchscreen device, and that's it. WELL worth $140. 5 |

I've been using my Garmin navigation system for years. Just upgraded (don't leave it in a hot car). I run home sales consults. I am never late and never lost with this productivity tool. 5 |

So far, I really like it. There’s a bit of a learning of a learning curve with the navigation and the system updating, but if I can figure it out, anyone can. The one shot Zero is absolutely amazing. I used the same general process zeroing my regular scopes, but this is amazingly simple and the accuracy is phenomenal. I had a few issues calibrating the camera and was getting an ERR message. Fixed it by going thru the Calibration steps multiple times. Starting the calibration procedure immediately after I turned it on did the trick. I haven’t really used the camera features yet, except to photograph a squirrel running around my deer stand. Hopefully that will change soon. I am going to teat the Quick Change between rifles today. I have it zeroed to two different guns. But have not switched to see if it retains the accuracy. I am going to add a 3rd today too. 5 |
