Best Ceiling Mounted Short Throw Projector

Have been waiting for a quality 4K short throw in my recently built basement theater room, and this unit met my needs as my ceiling height is low and didn't want to use a ceiling mount unit. I sunk the projector into the floor of the stage so it is not visible when sitting; projected on to a 106 inch screen. The performance is excellent hooked to cable TV, and the 4K from a Pioneer Elite 4k blu ray looks very sharp. Have unit hooked to 7 channel audio system, however most of time for general tv only, just use internal built-in speakers which are ok for a unit this size. Operation is straight forward; adjustments for picture geometry were easy, haven't really used the apps thus far as have only had for a couple weeks. Spent a bit more that originally intended, but was sold on 4K laser short throw technology and would settle for nothing less.

Using to store/transport a 3500 lumen ultra short throw projector with an integrated mirror.. Pelican Case holds it securely with no worries that it will be jarred in transport or storage.. Build quality is excellent and the foam inserts were easy to customize for the perfect fit.

Replaced an older high end, very expensive projector. Ceiling mounted in my theatre. Did it myself with no problems. Picture quality is phenomenal for the money... Buy one, you wont be disappointed.

I used these cables to connect a ceiling mounted projector to the audio amp approximately 20' away. The salesman at B&H recommended this cable with the caution that there might be radio interference. The cable worked find and shielding was good. No noticeable hum or interference. I'm of the school that cables are cables and as long as the contacts are clean and mechanical connections are firm, there is no difference in audio quality. Electrical engineers agree! But the argument will go on forever and cables made of unobtanium will continue to be bought by believers.

I bought this screen to use with a projector and didn't want to go through the hassle of installing a wall or ceiling mounted screen. It is a tad on the heavy side, but it folds up easily and fits in a closet without taking up much space at all. It seems to be very well made and durable, and the price was more than reasonable. Very satisfied!

Incredible picture. I also own the HU85LA UST projector so I'm a fan of LG projectors, I ceiling-mounted the HU810PW and it's perfect and very minimal and sleek looking. With the 2700 brightness, the picture is even pretty good in a very bright room. The price paid at B&H was excellent and delivery was ultra fast to NYC.
