This lens is so small and light you'll keep checking your pocket/ camera bag to make sure you have it. It does feel a little cheap, but the trade-off is well worth it. No issues with picture quality so far though to be fair, I haven't made huge enlargements yet. Overall, a great second lens to carry 5 |

Very compact. Well built. Pretty solid. No cheap plastic. It goes nicely with M 240. Its so small...it can easily fit in my pocket. So one lens on the camera (e.g. 50mm) and this one in the pocket. A camera bag is not necessary. I used it for street photography. I also used it landscape during the fall foliage. Awesome color rendition. Sharp pictures. I would say corner to corner sharpness around f8.0/f9.0. Very nice skin tone for quick portraits. Worth every penny. For this kind of quality lens, I wish Zeiss gave me a nice box. Actually the box is pretty cheap looking which is not expected. 5 |
