[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got my hands on the White Electric Standing Desk Converter and I have to say, I'm really happy with it! The white finish gives it a modern look and the desk operates so smoothly thanks to the electric mechanism. Going from sitting to standing is a breeze and the 38" desktop has plenty of room for my setup. This desk feels really sturdy and well-made. One feature that's been a huge help for me is the ability to adjust the height with buttons. It's made a big difference in my comfort throughout the day. Standing design is only good for a cheap case (convection), bad for stability. I destroyed one of these by tipping it from standing to laying flat accidentally, while in use. How fragile is that? I managed to get a replacement after shipping it to WD operations in Vietnam (register it on the WD support website with your receipt and request RMA). If you will be carrying this drive around or it won't be in a place that it can't get knocked down flat, do yourself a favour and buy a vertical enclosure instead of the standing one. 5 |
