We are using these condenser microphones for a 20 member church choir. The product literature was very helpful for us in assembly and future modifation of our sound system. The sound technician and I also liked the on-line tutorials that Audix posted.

These Rode M5 compact microphones are way more than awesome!! They are not what I expected but they were much much more. I just received them last week and have already used them on a filming job of a choir. When I did a run thru very first time with the choir last Thursday I had my headphones on just making the necessary audio adjustments and my other videographer on camera #2 looked at me from across the room where he was running his camera and said Looks like you are happy about something!! I bet it's those new Rode mics!! Never seen you with a smile like that in a long time!!! I just gave him a thumbs up and was totally way overwhelmed. The sound is what I would expect from a $2,000 plus microphone. Anyway, this is a MUST BUY and you probably better buy quickly from B&H because the pricing on this won't stay this cheap for long.

K&M stands are made very well. The heavy zinc base lends stability to the setup. The 43"-79" stand above is tall enough to be well overhead of seated musicians. With the long boom (42"), it can be used for space miking a choir or instrumental group for recording, or spot miking a choir on risers. I work strictly mobile, and these stands fold for easy transportation (other than weight). Tension on the legs is adjustable so they don't flop about.

I used two of these mics for a concert. I set one high above the choir and another one high in the back of the room, for ambient audio. I used them with a Zoom H6 and they worked great. I felt it captured a pretty full sound, though my clients asked for a bit more low end in editing. Your mileage may vary depending on client demands. I really like that they comes with cases. It's great to not have to buy another item just to protect the mics. They're heavy mics, so I wouldn't recommend using them on a camera. I put mine on lighting stands (I didn't like the tall mic stands for sale). It's pretty neat that it can be used with a 9V battery. Don't forget to turn them on first though! I hadn't really used mics with on-off switches before, so I'll need to get in the habit. Otherwise, I'm looking forward to using these for years to come.

I Have used these Atlas stands at church for many years, recently decided to add more microphones and add 4 more Stands. Same great stand, good quality, and built like a tank. You cant go wrong with these Atlas MS10 stands.
