Best Clicky Keyboard
JeffH | 2024-04-28 02:23:44 |
Best feel of any non-clicky keyboard I've tried, and that's probably 50 different models over the years. And it has the most standard US layout, really important when your fingers have memorized locations for all the keys. 5 |

Purchased the blue switch before this and was just too clicky for me. This one is a perfect tactical keyboard, responsive, comfortable, and beautiful. 5 |

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Second time I have bought a batch of keyboards in this model. Aside from the loud/clicky keyboard models, I believe this is the best you can get in standard layout. Assuming you don't require 'compact'. I use a clicky keyboard much of the time but switch to this one for meetings because in a meeting, loud keyboards drown everything else out 5 |

I've been using clicky mechanical keyboards with my desktop computers for years. I love the build quality, the key travel and that satisfying sound. My only issue's been the thickness because my keyboard tray isn't deep enough to accommodate a palm rest. That meant an uncomfortable wrist angle. This Logi low profile solves that easily. For my purposes, this keyboard does everything I need, want and like. And it does it beautifully. Regarding comments about a slow backlighting sensor, the keys on my unit light up as my hands approach and it seems to be on a par with Logi's MX Keys which I've also used and I did not find it objectionable. As for backlighting going off too quickly, I don't have a problem with that either. It probably helps battery life, which is outstanding. I'm using this new keyboard, via Bluetooth, with one of Apple's new iMacs with the silicon chip and the Bluetooth connection is solid. The Bluetooth settings do show the percentage of the battery charge. If you need to boot from safe mode where Bluetooth doesn't work, just pair the keyboard to the included Logi Bolt USB receiver. The only suggestion I would make to Logitech would be to consider using PBT keycaps since they are virtually immune to fingertip oils and smudges, although a microfiber cloth will work on the existing keycaps. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A clicky enough keyboard that gets the job done. Built with the same quality as any Lenovo product. 5 |

I love this keyboard. I haven't used a mechanical one since the 80's? 90's? Cherry Bl gives you the clicky sounds - it gives you the feeling that you've accomplished something great when you add another chapter in your great American novel! Generations will laud your work, but only you (and those who read this review) will know the secret was the DAS keyboard. It responded to your touch with tactile feedback and sound. It affirmed you as you wrote on those days when you ventured off your outline, encouraging you to create something unexpected and beautiful, that you could bring back into your story. 5 |

Beautiful, aesthetically pleasing, keyboard. I like how the clicking sounds are more subtle and dampened and not obnoxiously clicky. The Azoth has some heft to it making you know that you are in the presence of a high-end quality product. I'm extremely pleased with this keyboard all I need to buy is a palm rest for it. I highly recommend it! 5 |

Pros: 1. Just the right amount of clicky feedback. 2. Switches resist enough to not cause numb finger tips - I type pretty aggressively. 3. Great battery life so far. 4. I like the little info-graphics the software throws up on screen (caps lock etc). Cons (minor): 1. A little too small for my unusual setup (keyboard in lap from recliner). 2. Pricey. Overall: Hands down the best wireless keyboard experience I've ever had. I would give it 4.5 stars for minor complaints but since I can't give half stars it rounds up to 5. 5 |
