Best Computer Monitor For Viewing Photos

I use my computer with an external monitor that has no built-in webcam. My external webcam does mount on top of the monitor screen, but the viewing angle is not good. I used this device, along with the Square Jellyfish Tabletop Support (Aluminum), to support my webcam on the desk, under the monitor, as shown. As you can see from the attached image, the viewing angle is excellent. This device will not bear a load much greater than this one, and in particular, the ball, when moved, would have to be tightened down to hold a heavier device in place. There is an adjustment for this, but you have to unmount the device from your tripod to tighten it down. So I wouldn't recommend this as a general purpose ball head for anything that weighs more than a few ounces (100 g). But I have to give it 5 stars because out of the box it was perfect for my application. 5 |

I use the adapter kit when viewing photos on the HDTV or downloading them to the computer. It is nice to know you are not discharging the battery in the process. 5 |

The cover over the monitor on the back of my Nikon D810 had gotten scratched over time and, although still functional, was distracting when viewing photos. I called B&H and they had the part in stock and shipped it to me within the week. I can always depend on them to supply my camera needs---friendly and efficiently and at the lowest cost. 5 |
