Excellent computer that is an upgrade as compared to 2015 Mac Pro

I have a 2015 Macbook Air, and use the Matrox to spread the Mac's desktop across three monitors (the Mac, and two external 24 HP monitors). The connection was so simple: the Matrox includes the mini display port and usb cables, and I connected the Matrox to the HP monitors with 2 DVI cables. No configuration was necessary: as soon as I connected the Matrox to the Macbook Air it just worked. What a great product.

Does exactly what I needed to do in allowing me to use 2 monitors with new my M1 Mac. Was very frustrated when I got the new computer and couldn’t use 2 monitors, but this is a quick fix.

Best experience with a Mac laptop since my original computer, a Mac Powerbook back in the late 1990s. Smoother, faster and a step above my current Mac Mini (16gb ram, 3+GHz, etc.). Does everything in Photoshop quickly and quietly, love the M1 chip and the Touch Bar, which I had avoided and didn't think I'd like but do. Very portable. Very cool. Very happy with my purchase. Those who bemoan the lack of connection ports should be assuaged by the many 3rd party plug-in USB C hubs on the market. They provide USB ports of every description as well as an SD card reader and an HDMI port for your monitor. These things look good and don't detract from the appearance of the computer, many of them look like they were designed to blend in with the computer, because they were.

Back up mac computer

I bought this to use with my 2015 Macbook pro 15 and it works as intended (Full res 75Hz, sRGB mode) with a thunderbolt to display port cable. Colors are as accurate as my mac display although the mac might have just a little more contrast but in day to day usage, you really won't notice. Ergonomics gets a 10/10 and I've set this up at full stand height with vertical arrangement of the two displays. Didn't go for the PA278CV since my laptop doesn't have a USB-C port, it's pricier and the display panel is more or less the same. Overall, I'm really satisfied with my purchase. Highly recommend if you want a monitor for productivity and content creation.

Excellent just excellent on Mac Pro 2015 icore7 256 gb hard drive it wasn’t enough storage for my needs so bought the OWC 1.0TB SSD internal hard drive & what a difference it was easy to install even though it’s Took 2 tries due to contacts wasn’t Aligned right the first time but made sure the second time & it ran its course for a bit but once installed (but make sure first you connect to internet & use Cat 6 or better cable for speed ) & recovered most files nicely no usb backup needed for me that is & it’s extremely faster to operate & no issues since Tip go to YouTube to show you step By step instructions after installation is successful & complete just follow the prompts to Put in the new password and customize and Should be good to go. I am very happy and yes I will definitely recommend To a friend
