I love this mic! I was looking to expand my home studio considering I had been producing music for seven years. I was recommended by an engineer to purchase this mic considering the tone of my voice. I produced and recorded a song hook and posted it on my soundcloud and people have fallen in love! In a smaller space, these things are audio bliss. I've been producing music for almost 7 years now, and have yet to find anything to match the flat response in an imperfectly-treated acoustic environment. The ARC room calibration really works :)

I have a 2012 iMac 27 and was looking for an interface so I could start producing music. This was perfect for me. Setup was a snap, it just worked. The direct monitor button is really nice when I need it. Separate main volume and headphone volume knobs are also really nice. Overall very happy with this!!

I bought the 8010's to have some portability when traveling and producing electronic music. They have a roll off at 65 HZ, just where bass gets beefy. Considering the size of the 8010's they do an excellent job in the mid and high frequency range...but they seriously lack in the deep end. I have since supplemented them by adding the 7040A and the difference is astounding. Yes, this sub has weight to it, isn't exactly small and the idea of portability is somewhat limited now but I'd do what is necessary to bring this baby along for the ride. I'm talking fullness across the board when combined with the 8010's that could well stand up to my home studio near fields.

These are great and affordable headphones for what I need while producing music at home. Great sound quality overall and they definitely compete with other headphones at a higher price. I like that they came with different cord attachments and they feel very durable so far. They do fit pretty tightly on my head, which I prefer (I read reviews about this bothering some people) so I’ll have to use more to fully assess this. Overall I’m extremely happy with this model and look forward to using this not only for my own music production but also for casual music listening and streaming online.

Very pleased with these monitors; I've been producing music for about a year and a half on headphones and this is my first set, so I can't really compare them to other monitors but from my own experience and expectations these sound fantastic. Very clear high end, not harsh at all, and the padding controls on the back are great for tailoring them to your room; I don't have bass traps yet so the -2dB pad on the low end helps a lot to balance out the signal. Would definitely recommend these to any producer, mixer, or listener.
