Best Cordless Hand Held Vacuum 2021

I own a few cordless lavalier & hand-held microphone systems (by Sennheiser) that are used for my audio/video projects. An antenna to one of the cordless receivers was found to be broken after I put it in my made-for-video equipment backpack. So, I did a quick research for a safer way to transport the Sennheiser ENG systems and found this on the B&H web-site. Bottom line is that the entire unit of each cordless transformer & receiver, including the antenna, is safely packed into the case for transport.

I’ve been using this since 2021 and it’s held up exactly like a Gitzo should. It’s the beefiest of the Mountaineer series. Not super light, but light enough to take along. It’s been very sturdy for everything I’ve tried. (Up to 600mm.) The head is also quite nice and performs as expected. But… (There’s always a but. LOL) I never really liked the quick release. To me they dropped the ball on that one. (No pun intended.) OTOH, RRS makes some great clamps…so I swapped out the Gitzo for the 80mm RRS clamp and couldn’t be happier. Obviously it works great with my RRS L-brackets…and my Wimberley lens feet. I can hear you asking, “Why not just use a RRS head?” Because I already had this one and actually like it, save for the QR clamp. It may well work for most people, but I have L-brackets on every camera and just don’t care for the clamp as shipped. It DOES require an adapter, but that’s not a major hurdle.
