I purchased for making videos for our YouTube channel. Fantastic sound and clarity.

I use this for recording sessions with astrology clients and making YouTube videos, and it works very well for my purposes.  Pros - portable, audio jack in the back for monitoring, high quality for price... Cons - unidirectional condenser, mute button makes audible click in recording... as you can see, the pros are significant while the cons are not (unless you want an omnidirectional mic, which this is not).  Im glad I purchased, and glad to support B&H directly.

I was using the Auray desktop mic stand for recording YouTube videos, but I couldn't get the mic close enough. This boom arm does the trick, allowing me to place the mic exactly where I need it while the stand can sit back out of the way. (The stand required adding weight to the base so it wouldn't tip, but I just put a 2.5-pound free weight on it.) The boom arm pivots and tilts and extends easily and reliably. I imagine it would work great on a full-size mic stand as well.

Got this to hold a teleprompter and Nikon Z9 for making YouTube videos. Holds the teleprompter and camera very sturdy. Went with the lower cost aluminum version as I use it in the studio and don't need to travel with it.

I am so happy that I got this. It is already making my youtube videos look a lot better and I've had a couple of chances to use this in a music video. Also, the app to control it with your phone is great. Would definitely like to try the 4 kit with the charging case!

I have been into photography but am starting to find interest in doing youtube and making videos. this camera allows me to do both, giving me the best of both worlds!

I've been using this for about a month as a key light for making YouTube videos and it works really well. The light is nice and soft and it generates very little noise. Setting up the lantern can be a little tricky at first, but after the initial setup, it's a breeze to use. This is a great alternative to Aperture lights.
