I mainly use this for time lapse photography on my 7D for professional video. The timer makes the time lapse functions of the camera as versatile as my full time professional video camera. For the price though it would be nice if it were wireless since the cable isn't very long and it's pretty lightweight. It's typical for Canon accessories, overpriced but performs flawlessly. 5 |

I use it for time lapse photography. Just plug the end of the meter length cord into the camera. Set the camera on (M) manual and Bulb. Press the remotes button down and the camera shutter opens. Slide the collar that surrounds the button forward to lock the shutter in the open position. Pull the little collar back to close the shutter. Very simple to use. I like it. 5 |
