This monitor is just what I was looking for, and more. I look forward to all the hours of photo editing that lie ahead with this Asus Proart Display monitor. The settings options are spot on, the display is clear and sharp, and the versatility with the monitor angle, height, etc is an added bonus. I am very pleased with this purchase!

I switched to a Mac Studio recently after spending the last 10 years editing video on iMac, and this monitor holds up incredibly well. No, it is not a 5K Retina display. However, it is about $1,000 less expensive than an Apple Display, and after using it for two weeks, I'm not noticing any major differences. The color and the resolution are high quality and very suitable for editing 4K video. This monitor also connects directly to the Mac Studio through a USB-C, and it started right up the first time. (I had read reviews that firmware needed to be updated on the monitor to use the USB-C connection, but I didn't not experience this). The 31.5 display is also a nice upgrade over the 27 iMac - that extra bit of real estate is always welcome. It takes up about the same amount of space on my desk as the iMac did. The matte screen is also great. The Retina Displays were too glossy with too many reflections, whereas this monitor minimizes and soften reflections. I'm very happy with this purchase, and if you're looking for a cost-effective alternative to an Apple Display, I would recommend the Dell Ultrasharp 31.5 4K HDR Monitor.

This is expensive but my IPad Pro is my most used computer. The display is excellent for photo editing and viewing and it is very fast for any task you need to do with it. Video editing with LumaFusion is a breeze especially with the M1 processor. It's pricey with the pencil and keyboard but it is extremely versatile.

The Macbook Pro is a known powerhouse. The 16MB of RAM and M1 processor are especially helpful with photo and video editing. It's snappy! If I didn't have an external monitor to connect, I might be dissatisfied with the 13.3 display, but it works well-enough when I'm disconnected, and is a non-issue when connected to the larger display. The plan all along was to use the external display for photo/video processing anyway, since even a 16 is not really big enough for me when working on high-resolution content where details and sharpness differences are critical. I'm only a little disappointed that there aren't more Thunderbolt/USB4 ports. It only becomes an issue when I want to connect an external display, the charger, and an external drive. The battery life on this thing is so good currently that I've just been connecting the external display instead of the charger when I'm editing. The 1TB internal storage also mitigates this issue to a degree as I can work on the local drive, and backup to the external storage when a port is free. The size and weight mean packing it in my photo backpack is almost unnoticeable. Overall, I am quite pleased with it.
