You will want this. I've used cheap adapters in the past had nothing but problems with them. This dock station is the way to go

This dock fits well placed horizontally under the screen of a 2020 iMac with 27 display. It integrates appropriately with OS 10.15.6, effectively adding one high-speed pone slower Thunderbolt 3 ports, a video monitor port, and a handful of USB-3 ports. It also makes audio I/O ports (analog and optical) and camera card port more accessible. Front panel ports for thumb drives. The external power supply is adequate. The manual required a download and a firmware update was called for. Powers up with the computer. Pricey, but effective and compact.

This dock I got met and exceeded my expectations. Works perfectly with my 2020 intel MacBook Pro. No issues with randomly hibernating or other unknown anomalies I had experience with other thunderbolt three and four docks. Plus this is space grey if colour is important to your setup. Lastly the shipping to Canada is fast and worry free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this dock to use as a second station when we need to work in the other room and this is perfect for that. It is very small and has all the ports you would need in a basic setup. There is not a ton of USB ports or additional features but everything works as it should

I bought this because I own an Asus Chromebook CX5601 and I wanted a way to dock it and use it with a double monitor setup. This docking station has enabled me to do this seamlessly. This has enabled me to connect my Chromebook with two 4K monitors, a USB keyboard and mouse, and a webcam, and all of it works quickly and flawlessly. Excellent docking station.

This docking station increases the versatility of my new Mac Pro by allowing me to dock with more antiquated devices. I am very happy with it and give it a five-star rating. Wherever my computer goes the IOGEAR is going to accompany it. For me, it is a must-have solution to connect with older devices.
