[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm using the dock with a Macbook Pro 16" for about two weeks. I have an external monitor connected to it. I haven't had any issues the the dock. I charge my MacBook through the dock. The USB ports is nice because my MacBook doesn't have any. But the best feature I like is the stand. I can rest my Macbook on it and brings up the keyboard to a comfortable position. Overall I would recommend Multiport Dock. 5 |

This docking station increases the versatility of my new Mac Pro by allowing me to dock with more antiquated devices. I am very happy with it and give it a five-star rating. I'm using this dock with a MacBook Pro 15" Retina with TouchBar, a MacBook Pro 13" Retina with TouchBar, and a MacBook Air M1 with Apple Silicon. They all work correctly. The Ethernet is detected as 1Gb (measured as 743Mbps down, 810Mbps up), the HDMI is running 4K @ 30Hz, the USB3 ports work correctly, and my MacBooks charge if I have an Apply power brick plugged into the dock's USB-C port. The only beef I have with this dock is that the USB-C cable that goes to the laptop is a bit short. Note: it all still works if there ISN'T a power brick connected to the dock. 5 |
