I work in film editing and I have several smaller external hard drives (8TB, 5 TB, 4 TB, 2 TB, etc.). When I got a new stationary computer I decided to re-distribute what was on those smaller drives and keep a master external hard drive attached to my new computer. I got this 20TB for that purpose, and it does exactly what I need. With a stable connection and a reasonable speed of information transfer, I was able to re-organize and stabilize my existing projects, while establishing a central location for new projects as well. 5 |

I have two large monitors I use for video and photo editing. I use external drives for most data storage so I am really just operating off my laptop for a computer. The extra display ports and the USB 2.0 slots make it sooo much easier to work at home. I have plenty of places to plug in drives, card readers, drawing tablet, keyboard, mouse. I haven't had an issue. All the ports work and are recognized. I am on a 2024 macbook pro. 5 |

I've purchased several of these drives for use in an external thunderbolt drive chassis. I use them for professional video editing. The perform very well. I've had no issues with them at all. Plus, B&H consistently has the lowest price I can find. Very pleased with these drives and will continue to buy them as needed. 5 |
