I bought this to carry with me hiking and mountain biking. I predominantly use a Z9, so I was excited to try the Z30 with a quality lens. I can believe how close the Z30 plus this lens is to my Z9 with the 85mm f/1.8 S. And it’s less than half the size, way less than half the weight, and way, way less than half the price. The focus is fast, images are sharp corner to corner wide open. Manual focus is smooth and effective. I am incredibly happy with this lens.

They help balance the Tour fanny back perfectly for biking, havent used them yet for hiking but hope theyll be equally beneficial. I am using a fanny pack rather than a backpack because of lower spine issues. The strapettes distribute the weight and with the fanny pack balanced at the waist there does not appear much compression of the spine. The only issue is the awkward adjustment of the strapettes with the front connection

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive monocular that I could take hiking/biking or keep in my car. I wear eyeglasses, so eye relief is important to me. I picked-up the 8x25 Vortex Solo, which as 15mm eye relief. The 8x36 Solo has more (18mm), but I didn't want the extra weight or size (or cost). I would say that the 15mm 8x25s work, but they are on the low-end of the acceptable range in terms of eye relief. Would not want to go any less. Still, overall not a bad monocular for the price. Light, feels nice in the hand. It is a bit bulkier that I would have liked, not so much its length but diameter. I watched a few YouTube reviews. Several people did not like the Solo's case. It seems okay to me. Nothing special. It has some padding, but again that adds to the bulk.

This camera is nice and compact. I take it along on all kinds of outdoor adventures whether hiking, biking, hunting or just visiting relatives. You never know when you'll get that critical moment. I prefer the disk storage vs cell phone. Pictures are nice and clear.
