Best Flash Photography Lights

this flash is wonderful and almost a necessity for macro photography...lights up your subjects and with the ratio control, you can get exactly the look you want...a nice surprise is that you can take portraits and the effect is great as the face has no shadows...if you're on the fence about getting this flash, then get it....you won't be sorry...

Best batteries for flash.

Best for all of my indoor photography where a little more light and control is needed than I get with the pop-up flash on my 40D. Found it easy to use and really does the job. Bought a diffuser with it and this gives it all the control you could want. Haven't found any cons for this unit.

A must for flash photography.

Still learning more about flash photography and lighting but, this kit made things less overwhelming. It's simple...2 mono lights, 2 32 Octa soft boxes, one stand and one boom stand and a 16 channel light trigger. All accessories like speed rings for mounting your soft lights and of course the mesh screens for your lights as well. The advantage of having a boom light is really great. It spreads the light even for any of my product photography sessions. The additional soft light adds to the mood perfectly. Using a Canon EOS T7 I found the included trigger does work with it.

As a novice photographer, flash photography is intimidating but this is a super easy external flash to use and lights up the space incredibly well.

FYI: I got this on a great sale, so didn't pay full price. I purchased this product so I could light up my tent with my night photography.� I have used single LED lights in the past which worked quite well, but I wanted something where I could control the lighting of my tent and not have the lights on for hours while I got my shot. I finally got out last night and tested This Vello wireless trigger system. It worked fine when I set it to the flash setting on the selector button, and I was able to get pretty far away from the tent to take the picture.� The only issue was that in taking my time in night photography, the power save mode on the flash would kick in and I would have to go restart the flash for it to work.� The Vello remote worked pretty good except for that.� I was able to get 20 - 30 yards away from the tent, and the remote was still working.� I have the Sony HVL-F32M and the Vello Mini Softbox to spread out the light in the tent, and I got some nice results from my first try.� I set the flash setting to 1/8 yo 1/16 power to control the lighting due to the night conditions. (moon / no moon).� I still have a learning curve, but I think this will come in very handy for my night photography.
