The rubber adaptor is the best thing about this adaptor. It doesn't happen often, but I have had metal stick to metal making it hard to unscrew. The rubber washer takes care of this issue. This all metal adaptor is a great tool for my studio and on the rare occasions I'm doing a gig with musicians. Because they're easy to lose, I'd consider getting more than one. It certainly does it's job, and it doesn't smell strongly. I just started developing my own film again after 20 years and this is a welcome change. I did not stick my nose in the bottle, but nor did I notice any smell from using this product at arms range in a well ventilated bathroom. 5 |

It's stop bath. It's clear. And it doesn't smell like anything, the way most people would want their stop bath. (I mean, really, who thought vanilla scented stop bath was a good idea? They must have been high and eating ice cream in the darkroom.) 5 |

Looks good, doesn't stink or have any smell, lays well out of the package, feels great in the hand when running or coiling. Solder points are even shrink-wrapped inside the housing. 5 |
