I have installed about a dozen of these drives into older laptops. I have not had any issues at all. In general SSDs will improve the performance over mechanical hard drives, but for top performance you want a drive with the highest IOPS. This one rates high (near 90K for both read and write) compared to most. NOTE: If you motherboard supports M.2 SSDs, that would be faster than the SATA SSDs. 5 |

I USE IT TO CLEAN THE SCREENS OF MY LAPTOPS. I BOUGHT IT BECAUSE IT WAS THIN ENOUGH TO PUT INSIDE THE MAC AIR COMPUTER... IT PROTECTS THE SCREEN AND KEEPS IT VERY CLEAN, WITHOUT ADDING BULK. THE SIZE IS JUST RIGHT. AT TIMES WHEN YOU TRAVEL WITH LAPTOPS THEY MIGHT BE IN TIGHT PLACES AND PRESS AGAINST THE KEYS AND DAMAGE THE SCREEN... THIS SOLVED THAT PROBLEM FOR ME. SINCE I BOUGHT MORE THAN ONE I USED THE OTHERS TO KEEP MY CAMARAS AND THE LENSES SPOTLESS. 5 |
