You won't find better performance in the current generation of desktop, non-HEDT CPUs. The cores are highly binned as well so you can expect better efficiency (silicon lottery) from the 5950x silicon than the other models in the product lineup. Excellent performance out of the box, but if you have the power and thermal headroom, PBO will add a significant boost. PBO on the 5950x actually does a lot, where it was basically pointless on Zen2. 5 |
