This replaced an expensive gaming router that I bought a couple of years ago that was gigabit ready but turned out to be the weak link in the chain. Bought this on a whim and was wowed by its effectiveness - made my 140mbps feed jump to 978mpbs (and not a full gig simply because it's on the other side of the house from my computer!) I will definitely be paying attention to this brand in the future. 5 |

TP-Link ER605 V2 Omada Gigabit VPN Router was easy to set up (using it as a standalone router) and basically started working once powered on. The boot cycle is a bit slow (~2-3 mins), but once active there are no issues with all the network devices connected to it. The 4 ports are sufficient for setting up 4 different networks and the streaming devices seem to be more stable (less buffering, more responsive) than before. For $25, immaculate wireless adapter. I am using this for my gaming computer upstairs and across the house from my router. Still able to pull 280-360 down/15-30 up - and that's on a 2.4Hz connection. That's absurd for a $25 wireless adapter. Very pleased with the purchase so far! 5 |

My previous router was old and slow. WOW what an upgrade this router was. I have Gigabit speeds and my wifi runs as smooth as ever. The Nighthawk App also helps alot with controlling the parental controls for my kids aswell. 5 |
