Best Hasselblad 500 Series Camera

If you shoot with a Hasselblad 500 series camera on a regular basis, there will always be some point where you need to manually wind up the lens or bellows or extension tube manually to synchronize the couplings when you put them back together. This tool has both sizes needed and fits securely over the coupling, makes it a simple job.

I remember using the 80 mm with my 500 CM Hasselblad. This is the best portrait lens ever Sharp images. It's just absolutely spectacular love using it for portraits. I just completed a corporate headshot series with this lens and the images are outstanding highly recommended. I know the price is a little steep, but it's worth the money for this series and for Hasselblad cameras.

Just acquired a Hasselblad 500 C/M. The camera is boxy and heavy and I was nervous that I would drop it while using it. The camera has a top mounted view finder, so you shoot it from your chest or stomach. I found this neck strap and it allows the camera to rest on your chest while walking and then you simply rotate the camera into shooting position, get your settings and release the shutter. Then you can let it rest and walk on to your next photo. Locks into place, so no worry about the strap coming loose.

The Hasselblad 500 CM is a great camera and is totally analogue. No electrical components at all. It is truly a precision machine. However, there are times when the camera locks up - when the lens has been released and the camera body is still cocked. When this happens, you cannot remove the lens, you cannot release the shutter and you cannot wind the camera. The only way to unlock it is with a screwdrive or this tool. With the screwdriver, you risk scratching the back element of the lens when turning the cocking screw for the lens (which has a LOT of spring pressure). This tool slides OVER the cocking screw, preventing it from slipping and damaging the Zeiss lens glass. Easy to use, easy to pack in the camera bag and a life saver when you're in the field and the camera locks up.

Just acquired a Hasselblad 500 C/M. I was looking for a good B&W film to run through the camera to make sure it worked properly and didn't have any light leaks. Bought one roll of Ilford FP4 B&W film and the results were outstanding. The square format of the Hasselblad combined with the high contrast B&W provided awesome results.

It works with my 500 series tripod.

This is a great lower light film. Colors are beautiful. I use it on my Hasselblad 500 C/M.

I can pack my Z6ii with a 200-500 all day no problem. Best camera strap ever.
