Love this mic! I was thinking about the micro vs the rode pro plus but when I heard the pro plus in different settings (i.e just using my laptop, with or without headphone, on my iphone,etc.) there was something smooth and professional about the pro plus. Best headphone purchase of my life. I read all of the reviews before buying: the earpieces too shallow, the grip too tight, the soundstage a little confined, not perfectly neutral, etc, etc. I disagree. Easily the most comfortable headphones I have ever put on. The sound is so present I have before been startled because it sounded like someone talking was behind me. As though you are listening to monitor speakers. So comfortable they don't shift around and I forget I'm wearing them even for 9 hours a day at work. They look brand new six months after I bought them. I have never heard or worn better, and I'm back at AKG to find more of the same. 5 |
