Most noteworthy is that this device allows me to connect my studio microphones directly into the iPhone X. (I'm talking about my Schoeps, Neumann, and Sennheiser 48 volt, XLR, recording mics.) It displaces the less than satisfying mic built into the iPhone, and allows fine audio to be used for all apps requiring a microphone. There is plenty of headroom, and it's quiet. There is also a monitoring circuit for headphones. Input XLR, output Lightning direct to iPhone. 5 |

I purchased the iPhone 7 and needed a solution to talking on the phone for long periods of time while keeping my phone charged. I still have not found wireless ear phones that are adequate for my needs, so needed a solution to my problem. I ordered two of these: one for my office and one for home.
