This would be the Illmatic of Headphones for DJs. Sennheiser kept If it ain't broke, don't try fix it. Many user replaceable parts. Light weights construction for hours of use without fatigue. I believe 2024 marks the 35 years anniversary of this headphones. As glasses wearer, on-ear nature of this headphones works wonder. Since nothing existed in this world is perfect, here are few cons; little thin and easy to get tangled straight cable, coiled cable is also nice to have but little to heavy and long for my taste. Although included Pleather pads are comfy, and gets worn out rather quick. Invest in velour pads like ones from DT770. 5 |

I just returned another pair of 2023 noise canceling headphones due to the poor fit and tight feel on my head, so it was a dream using the new Bose QuietComfort Ultra's. The name is no lie, the noise canceling blocks out your surroundings while sitting comortably on your head. Quiet Comfort indeed! The customization in the app is extensive and the sound modes have something for everyone. I love the way the spatial audio works no matter what operating system the device you're using is. I wish it handled Atmos natively and that there was a 3.5mm headphone jack going into the headphones but not a big deal if you keep the cable that comes with it. This is my go-to flight and home theater companion. 5 |
