Best headphones I own.

I run a college film program, and I wanted some cheap headphones we could loan out to students in our editing lab. I figured these would be lousy but cheap, but they ended up being really GOOD and cheap! We've been using them for a couple years now, with no problems at all. They are very lightweight, which is actually nice, because they are very comfortable and don't hurt your head, even after long binge editing sessions. Best of all, the sound quality is surprisingly good. I'm not an audiophile, and we don't do super critical audio editing, but still, I like these as much or more than any other pair of headphones (Sony, Tascam) that I've owned. What an amazing bargain! I don't know how they do it!

I use the Senal headphones for documentary film shooting and editing. They are comfortable and work great. They aren't 100% noise canceling headphones, but they do a good job. I actually don't want 100% just so I can know if someone is talking to me when I am not recording. The coiled cord is quite long and that was becoming annoying then when I later looked in the box I found that they come with a smaller non coiled cord. I haven't tried it out yet, but I will be sure to next time I am out shooting. I also tied the cord and that helps.

There's a reason that these are industry standard. Every film editing bay that I've been in has usually had these, so I finally picked up a pair for myself for my at-home station. They're great -- very comfortable over my petite ears! Sometimes headphones tend to hurt my small ears, but these fit wonderfully. The sound quality is fantastic. Very well balanced headphones with not too much bass.
