Best bang for your buck filmmaking camera out there. If you know how to use these correctly, the image you'll get is unmatchable for the price point. I got three for our style of work and they've been fantastic. The internal ND filters, the two mini-XLRs, the internal RAW recording, the inclusion of shutter angle, the variety of storage options, and the easy-to-control user interface make these Pockets untouchable at this price point. If you want autofocus and low-light performance, get a Sony. Otherwise, learn to use focus peaking and how to light correctly, and you'll make magic happen, baby. 5 |

My go-to headphones for mixing, and for field recording for filmmaking. Comfy, though slightly head-pinching, but it's not super noticeable. Love the ability to switch out the aux cables. Great for going from mixing position, to the booth, and back. Great when paired with the Garfield headphone softie covers, for long hot studio sessions or field recording. ( BH #GAHSBLU ) Right price, great functionality, trust it for recording film audio, good build quality. 5 |

I use this mostly for mastering and recording audio to video. I do weekly YouTube filmmaking how-to episodes and there are times when I can't always sit down to map out the perfect way to the get the right sound. In those instances, I just plug these wonderful headphones into my Zoom H4n handy recorder to just make sure the levels are right and I can honestly say that no other headphones sound even remotely close to this one. I have not used many high-end headphones, but of the ones that I have used these are pristine. Crystal clear sound (clearer than real life to be honest), comfy fit, very mobile, compact... everything you could want in a pair of field monitoring headphones! 5 |
