I used this in a very (very!) noisy environment to try to capture a speaker talking to a group. Camera was positioned about 20 feet away. I was impressed with how well I could make out what the speaker was saying when I watched the resulting video. When I was shooting I thought there was no way it would work because of the noise going on 15 feet to my left. So I am impressed for such an affordable mic.

The truth is that I come from the non-PRO version of the Solidcom C1. So I give you my opinion of evolution from them. The first thing we see is the box, and it comes very well packaged and gives it that premium quality. And I was surprised how well everything comes. As for the construction quality, it is made of plastic so that it is light, but quite resistant, I have never had any problems. And to know if it is PRO or not, it has a brown synthetic leather band on the headband. Something that I like is that they include various replacement pads both to soundproof the headset, and to change the plush on the microphone or the ear. Something that I liked about the PRO version is that the microphone has a button to activate noise cancellation and therefore improve how people hear you in noisy places. The negative point that I see is that if there is a lot of noise it sounds a bit robotic, but it is normal, they already do too much! And something that I think is great is that in the previous version you had to raise and lower the mic if you wanted to mute yourself, now it has a button that allows you to mute it directly, so it's much more comfortable. Personally, the PRO version is to improve communication in noisy places, otherwise you will always have the normal version that works just as well!

I have bought voice recorders before, and have always been disappointed with them. This one does a really good job picking up conversations in noisy places. The recordings are transferable to a computer in mp3 format, making it easier to play back later. I am very happy with it!

Clear sound. Able to take phone calls in noisy places and hear just great. Music sounds great from my phone without disturbing others. Thanks for providing quality product at reasonable price.
