After I got in my friend's home, I spent a lot of time to listen to some local music made from CD in FLAC format, and I am blown away how good the sound is (it has a lot of bass but it's not muddy at all) and I like it more than Sennheiser HD598 and ESP500. I planned to buy Sennheiser HD600, but I worry sensitivity is too low for smartphone. The phone is capable with 32bit/192kHz with PowerAmp. Open Air design can let me hear anything around me. Get additional cable with TRRS male to TRS male with mic (or boom mic) and have fun with your smartphone or tablet.

If you use your I-Phone to do radio remotes, this is what you need. You'll be able to use headphones for monitoring and a decent mic for interviewing, announcing, etc. The only weak link is the jack in the phone itself, so treat it well! A well made cable.

Well made and works perfectly with my Galaxy S5 phone and headphones. The phone's headphone connector is a headphone and mic connector. By using this splitter I can now listen with my headphones in full stereo.
