Best High Current Stereo Receivers

With so many receivers out there, it would be foolish of me to say this is one of the best. However, being someone who wants, not only the best of the current features across the board, but also excellent sound quality, I have to say this is an excellent buy. The Elite VSX-LX105 delivers quality on all fronts. The navigation menus are simple to navigate and configure; the user friendly I have experienced over the years. But what stands out for me is the sound quality. I not only love movies, but also, music. The sound through my SACD player (yes it supports SACD playback) is smooth and detailed. Without spending thousands of dollars on the higher end receivers, I think most people would be very happy choosing one of the Pioneer Elite receivers.

Use these for running lavs receivers into a mixer/recorder. No problems, but you have to be aware that it doesnt work for some devices depending on mono/stereo issues. For example this doesnt work to run a Sennheiser G4 RX unit into a single XLR input- that requires a stereo mini to split XLR channels.

Perfect replacement chord for some stereo receivers; in my case an RS 700 Yamaha receiver. Also works for some Fender guitar amplifiers. Did the job perfectly.

Using this switch to feed a new HDTV, my current stereo does not support HDCP and I was getting errors. This switch lets me feed TV with 4K cable TV box, Apple TV and Blu-ray player. Using TV Optical out for sound to receiver. Works great, solved problem.

I tested several systems against my current stereo system. It was important that the sound quality could pick up the subtle tones of the violin to the bass tones in my favorite rock bands. Sonos 5 was the only system that beat out my current system and all other systems tested, with only a third the footprint. I am also very impressed with the software Trueplay. I was skeptical at first, but moved the system to several places, and, WOW, the software adjustments made a great difference to the projection of sound from different areas within a room Great product. Also, I required customer service to set-up (it was an open box purchase), and they were very helpful.

I've been waiting for the right deal to come along to add to my current five and make a stereo pair. I haven't been disappointed the improvement is fantastic. Now saving for appropriate stands!
