Best High Speed Wireless Modem Router

It’s is a stable and durable modem router that helps us have high speed internet.

This is been by far the best router period, and I just dont mean due to the speed. the options & security features this thing has had me shakin my head for 30 minutes at least.. talk about fully customizable, WOW. I did 4 hrs of in-depth research into this router and the most common issue was the AiMesh system. seems many just couldn't get to resolved correctly. I on the other hand along with my son simply plugged it in and did NOT to any firmware updates, got into the settings to configure to our network and my speed just lit up. I have giga blast thru cox, but my older asus router we thought might be holding us back since the modem was received 1 gig downloads, but the router was only allowing 430 Mps and out wireless was a bit worse. Werll I wanted the speed that I was paying for. Granted this is a very pricey router BUT. once connected not only did our speed match that of the modem, but we gained the 6Ghz band. all my son downloaded was 1 small file having to do with windows 11 and that gave us 700Mps wireless thru 5Ghz band and a tad less thru 2.4Ghz band. our range grew by id say 30 feet in all directions with a full 5 bars. man how nice it is to have those speeds. I think people arent sure about their own talents when it comes to AiMesh, I could be very wrong. but at least for us. it was up and running in 15 minutes and we now see 970Mps+ consistently. so all in all it was worth the extra chunk of money..

I recently had my internet provider to increase my speed (from 150mbps download to 330mbps). It turned out that my old Wi-Fi card that I had on my PC couldn't quite handle the speed even though it was rated that it can. I bought this card out of curiosity just to see if it was the PC that was causing the bottleneck and not the card. Once I installed it, the download transfer rate just about doubled compared to the old card. In fact, the speed is about the same I'm getting if I had the network cable connected directly from the modem to the PC Ethernet port itself. Anyway, I would advise anyone to first check their wireless router or wireless modem/router to see what Wi-Fi standard it uses. If you still using an old modem/router, this card will only go as fast as that set up allows it to.

This Netgear Modem is great. I did a speed test and hit 890Mbps which is insane! One thing to know is that it is non wireless. You will need a router if you have more than 1 wireless device. It was worth every penny though. I recommend getting a router anyway, it will improve a lot. Ditch your company rent boxes and get this!

Works extremely well. I bought it to get a high speed router and modem and the single unit reduces clutter and provides whole house coverage. I’ve been able to stream movies, use voice-over-internet-calling, and use computers simultaneously with no slow downs or interruptions. �Works flawlessly.

If you’re in a area with high utilization (bandwidth useable) a docsis 3.1 OFDM(a)+ is an excellent tool for all your high speed data needs. As a senior service technician I can assure you that this modem is top bar in comparison to your ISPs modem. The material and quality assurance put into NetGear product cannot be outmatched by any other product ISPs provide. If you do decide to purchase, make sure you pair your high speed modem with a good compatible router with OFDM capability. This helps with in home (LAN) devices. If you have a two story, or long ranch style home, a mesh router makes a great addition. The nighthawk Mesh system has been a true iron horse.

We upgraded our modem/router and are very satisfied with the speed and efficiency with the new modem.
