Best Home Printer For Shipping Labels

I bought this label printer to use for shipping products from home. I'm not a frequent shipper but I wanted the simplicity of peel and stick labels when I did decide to send a package out. There is a more expensive model with Wi-Fi functionality, but frankly I found that unnecessary for the price increase. I have this printer connected via USB to a Linux server running CUPS, so I can print to it from any computer in the house; cheaper and just as effective. I mainly use Macs and found there isn't a standard way to cut shipping labels down to the proper size for this printer. Ironically Brother's own support page suggests taking a screenshot of the label and printing that. It doesn't seem to be an exact science; I haven't had issues with it, and the labels produced this way look fine. Just a bit funny to me. I did buy a couple other label rolls along with this product, but found out there are actually a couple of sample rolls provided in the package with the printer. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer just shoots labels out. I use mostly for printing shipping labels. It is extremely easy to refill. Requires no ink which is great. 5 |

I had another label printer and it died when I needed to make labels. B&H had the 800 with free shipping so I ordered it. It was due in a few days, right when I was going to be gone. It arrived one day early and I was able to keep my commitment and make my appointment. The 800 works flawlessly. I have no use for the ability to have both red and black on a label yet but i am confidant that it will work too. 5 |

Perfect for my small business. I no Longer have to to buy so much printer ink to print shipping labels and have to worry about if I lined Everything up properly with the labels on the sheet. 5 |

I had been printing shipping labels on sticker paper, which would never line up to the top edge, so I had to cut them out of the middle of the paper. It was a pain and a waste. Now I press print and the QL-1100 is all like, "I got this" and shoots it out in two seconds. It was super easy for me to set it up. I have a Dell computer. I'm not technically savvy and it was a snap. I love, love, love this printer. I had been on the fence about buying a thermal printer, and I'm kicking myself for waiting this long. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a small business and I do a lot of shipping. I used to just printer on paper and attach with tape but that didn’t look very professional and it uses a lot of ink. I then transitioned to buying shipping labels but not only was I paying for labels but the ink for my printer was so expensive. I now have this amazing label maker! It works so well and the best part is it’s a thermal printer so it doesn’t need ink. Yes, the labels are a little pricey but you’re saving time and money because you don’t have to pay for overpriced ink. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who does alot of shipping. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer is super convenient and the stickers are the perfect size for shipping labels. The program was easy to install and and is very easy to use. The labels come out super fast and has helped speed up the shipping and packing process. It’s a pretty compact size and is very helpful for our business purposes. The added benefit of not needling to add ink or calibrate the printer saves so much time and funds. I’m very happy with this printer and definitely recommend it for any business that requires labels or has any bulk shipping needs since the labels print so quickly and efficiently. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you print a lot of shipping labels then this printer is for you! This printer makes it a lot more convenient to just print on an already sticky label and stick your package. 5 |
