Far better solution for home and small business than consumer combo routers or other APs. Excellent speed, easy to set up, rock solid, superb coverage. I regularly get 180Mbps on Oookla speedtest with a 5 Ghz device. The UniFi controller is not required for small installations - there is an phone app for setup. Hints: - Set an appropriate power level (auto is actually High) for each band - 2.4 GHz should be HT20 - lock to a channel after doing a site survey - ZHO is for very specific environments and normally shouldn't be used 5 |
