Best Hp Network Color Laser Printer

We just purchased this new printer to replace our MFC-8890DW which we had for over 7 years....this was a real workhorse. This MFC-L8900CDW is "Great". Our first color laser. Normally we print all color docs on an InkJet...those days are now over. While some have commented that the dispslay panel is a tad laborious to navigate we found no problem with it. We use the Control Center 4 application to remotely setup any of the features and all works seamlessly with our network. It was basically take the printer our of the box, plug it in, and viola, the network found it immediately on all our devices...what a dream. We have only had this printer about a month so it's still in the trial period. The color docs we have printed so far are good. Not photo printer quality, but nonetheless, acceptable. The printers performance overall if five star....and the quality of the copies printed is far better than I've seen on other laser printers. This is truly a homerun for any office or home based business or just personal use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently replaced my old setup of an all-in-one inkjet printer and a separate black and white laser printer with this HP printer. I mainly print documents with occasional color printing, and I scan using my phone so I wasn't looking for a scanner function in the new printer. Easy Setup, Almost - Unboxing and initial setup were a breeze. The printer itself is a bit heavy, but getting it ready to go was quick. I plugged it in, answered a few setup questions, and downloaded the app. However, I missed a crucial detail: this HP printer requires a wired ethernet connection to set up with the app. After a quick trip to the store for a cable, I was back on track. Once I connected the cable, the app found the printer immediately and I was ready to print. This HP printer is a speed demon! It handles both documents and photos with ease, and the double-sided printing is equally fast. Even when using duplex printing, the speed is impressive. The documents are crisp and sharp, and even photos look good on this machine. For a color laser printer, this HP model has a surprisingly small footprint. It won't take up a ton of space on your desk. It also has a handy bypass tray that lets you print on specialty papers, which is a feature I might use in the future. Overall, a Great Choice. This HP printer is a great replacement for my old inkjet and laser printer combo. It's fast, produces high-quality prints, and has a small footprint. The only hiccup during setup was the requirement for a wired ethernet connection, but once I had that, the app setup was quick and easy. If you're looking for a fast and versatile color laser printer for home or office use, this HP model is a great option.

My HP M452 color duplex laser printer developed ugly vertical black bands on all prints. Nothing I tried would eliminate this problem. Finally, I decided to replace the OEM black cartridge with a genuine HP branded cartridge and the problem went away. Live and learn...

Superb printer. My first Brother printer and I love it. I initially bought and HP Color Laser printer but it was a piece of junk which I returned. I then bought this Brother Color Laser and doubt I'll ever go back to HP.

I had been using an HP color laser jet for 10 years. It was streaking and I wasn't sure $450 of new cartridges would fix the problem. So I decided time for a new printer. This thing is so fast. Colors look great. It just works. And now I don't have to feel so terrible like I am buying a new printer every time I will need new ink.
