Best In Ear Monitors For Drummers Ambient Sound

I tried the Bose QC-35 wireless headphones and they were very nice, but they could not stand up to the excellent noise cancelling ability of the Sony’s! It will transform your traveling experience from noisy and stressful to quiet and blissful. These are expensive, but it’s because of the superior quality and technology in them. The touch controls work great, even though I have accidentally tapped them when taking off the headphones. The instant quiet/ambient sound mode is extremely helpful. By just placing your hand over the ear of the headphone you can silence the music and it also amplified the ambient sound around you for easy conversation with those around you. The battery life is incredible and with just a few minutes of charge you can get 5-8 hours of playtime! The ear cups are very ergonomic and comfortable even for very long usage (4 hours). Great construction and fold up into a small case.

Over the ear headphones reduce ambient noise. Sound quality is very good for mono headphones.

Have come back for More Headsets. Our Announcers like the fit of the ear pieces and reduced ambient sound. I appreciate the replaceable cord. Packs well for us and works great for our Broadcasts.

I bought these so I could hear ambient noise around me but they have surprised me with how comfortable they are to wear. The sound is better on my in-ear pods but this is still better than I expected for bone conduction. I would recommend these to anybody looking at them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent ambient sound/white noice cancellation. First time I put them on I thought I had an ear problem. Felt like putting ear plugs on as it blocked out most of the external noice. Great sound as always. Fits better than most plugs I’ve tried. I haven’t really tested battery life. I hope it lasts longer than 8 hours continuously.

I'm a headphone snob. I prefer the larger, over ear ones, with more ambient sound reduction but decided to get this smaller pair. Man, these sounds great.

I use the in ears with my Iphone and on stage as in ear monitors. Wonderful sound, warm bass and crisp highs for all around great clarity.

I use this to drive in-ear monitors. It is very easy to use with excellent sound quality. I will be getting a few more for other band members. Def a good alternative to wireless.

My first set of in-ear monitors. Once I learned to get them in my ears correctly, I became completely satisfied. The isolation is great. I've been able to really refine my drum set sound. Now I hear in my head, what is going through the sound system, or what is being recorded. Bet you can't get anything better for the price.
