Best In Ear Monitors To Use As Headphones

Best Bluetooth on-ear headphones I’ve ever owned. Charging is.. amazingly quick, sound quality is great, however it seems to really accentuate the low-end. Maybe an EQ or increased midrange and treble might help. Otherwise, no complaints! Battery life is also surprisingly great, impressive from a 0.3Ah battery. Another great product from JBL. The name says it all - you won’t be disappointed.

These classic Sony headphones are without a doubt the best sounding and most comfortable of all the headphones and in-ear monitors I have tried, and being a freelancer in the post-production business, I have tried scores of them. There are more expensive headphones but there are none better.

I was leary of the negative posts about these headphones, but am I GLAD I ignored them. I have had two other *high-end* in-ear monitors and these are great at 1/2 the price of the 500-series. The others died death by accidents (don't ask) and these are a welcome benefit of bad luck. Great sound, good design, stiff wires actually AID in keeping them in place. The custom mold offer is confusing, weak and essentially worthless- support a local audiologist.

I use these headphones as in-ear monitors for live gigs and they have been amazing! The contour of the ear bud attachments fits right in the curvature of your ear which means they lock in and stay put. Love the range of lows and highs. I finally have headphones that don't fall out and give me a full mix! I've also been using them for when I'm getting work done at coffee shops and the snug fit means you block out the noise around you and can get stuff done! I'd highly recommend these headphones. Great for people who want high quality but can't afford customs.

This is the first time I've used in-ear monitors and I didn't feel or hear a difference from my over head headphones. I like that these are discreet and are much easier to pack and travel with. When shooting hand-held doc footage I tend to have just one in one ear so that I can monitor the audio while still having a clear idea of what's going on around me. The biggest selling point to these is that I do not find the quality to be any different than my over ear headphones from Sony or Audio-technica. In the description these are marketed as being usable for regular listening to music. I definitely would not recommend these for that given that these are truly designed to monitor audio so they lack the bass that regular listening devices add - this is a good thing. In other words, it might sound weird if you intend to use these for regular listening to music. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

Brilliant headphones I had to get these after having the in ear buds. I Use the in ear buds for on the go and I decided to get the ancs for home and work or watching films at work or home. The anc are comfortable and light, with the soft material on the head band and the earphones. Long use and easy to connect especially using the marshall app, setting up your specific sound you want on the app, good noise cancelling as well I love em, I'm definitely a marshall man. Sounds great listening to ASOMVEL

Best headphones ever! In-ear headphones we're always falling out of my ears. These sit comfortably in from of ears. I can hear my kids talking while listening to music/podcasts. Easily accessible play/pause button.

I have had these headphones for almost 10 years. In these 10 years, they have been THE BEST headphones I have used for mixing. I have used a bunch of headphones and studio monitors in that time, and nothing has beat them out, not even the infamous Sony 7506 (given, cheaper, but more prevalent headphones in studios) Things to note with these headphones; they are not super low end present. If you are getting these to listen to consumer music, you may not like them because they are not "boomy" or "full". These headphones are for users who are looking for definition and clarity for making a solid mix. The other note is a MINOR complaint; the part of the headset that rests on the top of your head/hair has worn out for me. The muffs also wore out, but I replaced them. If there is a way to replace the foam under the band, please let me know because I would love to have them looking brand new again. I broke the cable that came with the headphones by accidentally vacuuming it about 2 years in (stupid, I know), but the detachable cable saved me some money. Also nice if you want to swap out different size cables. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking to invest in headphones for studio mixing.
