Best Internet Firewall Router

Hands down the best router I have owned. Makes Netgear look bad. Best free security firewall and setting options to secure your network.

I was replacing a 15 year old Netgear Firewall Router which had capped my broadband throughput at only 60MBps. With this router installed, I'm getting the full 200+ MBps that I'm paying for to my ISP. The setup is a bit complicated if you're not used to fiddling with router settings. There is a wizard with some non-intuitive presets to help with setup as there are many different options for how the router functions. I'm giving it 5 stars because of the speed, and the relatively low cost.

Currently using it for subnetting muy LAN using VLANs. It has worked without issues together with my pfSense router/firewall. Good buy.

This was much easier and quicker to deploy than the Edgerouter. It also combines the functions of a router/firewall along with the cloudkey to make management easier and better

An amazing router in a tiny, little package. A router, firewall, and desert topping all in one! You can do a lot with the GUI. If you're not afraid of the command line, you can make this gem do a lot more. I bought two for my home to keep the PC's off limits from TVs and other Smart devices.

Configurable, high capacity router with good firewall and security. Cons: You need to create a UI account to get started. Port aggregation is hard to find

Fantastic wifi router, with a very sophisticated firewall built in, and pro level networking configuration capabilities. Provides an easy entry to the Unifi system - probably an overkill if you don't need multiple access points or fine-grained control over your network. But if you do, it's a great solution.

I'm pretty happy with this AP. Its just an AP, not a wireless router so it doesn't have any NAT or firewall features, which is fine by me, I have a Pfsense firewall that does all that for me. Its PoE, though the PoE is somewhat non-standard in that only works with the injector that comes with the unit.I have the unit mounted on the ceiling in my central hallway and its completely inconspicuous, especially given that you can shut the blue LED status ring off so that it looks just like a smoke detector. I bought 2, one for upstairs and one for the basement. They are configured identically with the unifi software. Setting them up took about 20m. I did a bit of speed testing and am seeing 760mbps or so straight out of the box in the place that I usually work, so for the $ or $ these units cost I'm pretty happy.

I bought this router as my main firewall device. The user interface is easy to learn and has lots of settings. I like having this dedicated router and putting another wireless router behind it. The commercial routers tend to simplify the security settings, which gives you less control.

This dream machine is the perfect router for my home business. The wi-fi and firewall meet all my security concerns it was ez to setup and dose deep packet inspection with my 1gb internet network .
