Bought a CM1000 because I upgraded my Comcast Internet service to 1Gbps and Comcast salesman recommended it. It turns out a right decision. I always got a downlink speed 650Mbps and uplink speed 30Mbps. 5 |

I have Xfinity and one day I decide to do a speed test, I’m paying for gigabit internet and was barely getting 70 mbps with their provided router. I decided to upgrade and this thing WORKS it was an easy install, a lot smaller than the previous one and handles my internet speed easily no bottlenecks or anything. This is supposed to give me about 1gbps and it pretty much does with the included cable. I get half that speed when I use a USB-C to USB-A cable, but it's still fast enough for my purposes. Not needing a tool is great. If I have one gripe: I wish it had little rubber feet or something so it wouldn't be metal on metal when I rest it on my laptop. 5 |
