Made from an advanced Japanese silicone, or so LogicSkin informed me when I emailed them a question. It's durable, storable, and should last. The fit is near perfect over my Macbook Pro keyboard. It's a great solution to buying a dedicated keyboard for twice or three times the money. It's a quality item, not some flimsy junk.
