Best Laptop Computers For Phd Students 2019

Best snoot ever, definitely will recommend to my students.

This planner got me through my MSc and is getting my through my PhD!

I used this for my PhD research which requires processing of huge data for NLP and DBMS. This laptop is doing this job with extremely high speed and quality. Also I use this for gaming. Performance of this laptop is more than what I expected.

I will use it to take laptop and a couple of books to school. I'm going back for a PhD, so I wanted something that's pretty, functional and with a professional look, I like how it looks and the space is very well distributed inside. Price was a big plus considering Its very nice design and quality materials.

Best laptop I ever have.

I updated from a 2014 iMac to a 2019 with 128GB of ram, but my trusty keyboard that has stuck with me through two computers wouldn’t work.. After a lot of research online I opted for the FCPX LogicKeyboard. It’s very similar to my previous one, but slimmer and more “elegant” The keys are extremely smooth, like the new Apples, and the layout is perfect.

I am a teacher, and bought these for use by my students while they edit on the computers. They are solid, and well-made. I've bought some expensive ones before that snap easily when they are used. These, so far, are great quality and well worth the extra $5 to upgrade from the cheapy ones. The padding up at the top is very nice, and the padding around the ears doesn't squeeze too tight on your eyes (a complaint from the last headphone brand I bought). It comes with an adapter (gold plated!) for 1/4 pin if you needed to use it for an audio board or something. Overall, these are great headphones, and well worth the $. I've only had them about two weeks, but they are still holding up to teenager's grubby hands and prone to breaking stuff. :)

This is working perfectly for me. I work with students, so I have a few computers on a work desk for them to do their video editing. I'm using this Auray dual headphone holder between 2 of the computers to keep things off the desktop. It attaches easily with the clamp. It also rotates 360 degrees for whatever position is better for your needs. Options are always a welcomed thing. I like that the clamp has a rubber pad cushion to allow it to attach firmly, while still preventing any damage or scratches to the desk. It's made of aluminum, so I have no fear of it breaking. Again, this is working exactly how I hoped for my situation and love that 2 headphones can fit on one holder. Which saves even more space. I have used several types of laptop computers, but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is more than I expected :)
