Best Laptop For Photoshop Under 500

As an artist who only uses Photoshop CS5 to work on 500 - 1gig multi layer images, this particular Apple Mac Pro set up could not be more perfect. I did hours of research on this particular product, and as of today, October 26th, 2010, this is the absolute best, fastest and perfect set up if you are only using Adobe Photoshop. When the 8-core comes out at 3.33ghz...then I might change my mind, but I need to work and if it comes out in even two months time, that is two months of work I would have missed out on. I say, go for it!

Have been using this with Canon 300 F4 IS lens and 7D Mark II. What I find is that if the subject is relatively close, i.e., birds which are small so you need a lot of magnification this works very well. You will only have one focus point. The more atmosphere between you and the subject, the less chance of a very good sharp result. Where there is very highcontrast, white against black for example, there is purple CA easily removed in photoshop CS6. Also works well with Canon 500 F4. I recommend it. I bought it to use when I didn't want to carrythe 500 f4 long distances or on an airplane to a foreign country or have reason to hand hold. That said, it works well for me in good light shooting at f11 or not good light shooting high ISO which means more work in photoshop. Just be aware that there are limitations and trade offs.
