I purchased for the upcoming April 2024 Eclipse and finally got a chance to experiment with it to get an idea of what settings I'll need. When I got those settings in the right range it performed as I'd hoped. I used a Nikon F mount 200-500mm paired with an FTZ on a Z6 for my experimentation. Had zero issues focusing as mentioned in other reviews. I don't understand people penalizing the product in a review because of poor technique or ordering the wrong size. Don't let those sway you from this product. It works as it should. 5 |

I purchased this filter for the April 2024 eclipse, and it worked perfectly. You can see sunspots in my picture below towards the end of the eclipse! I was able to add it and remove it smoothly from the Canon 100-400mm mk2 lens, which turned out to be critical because I had to take the filter off during peak eclipse (totality). I've had filters before which were very difficult to remove; this was great. 5 |
