Best Large House Router

The ORBI Mesh system is the best available. I have a router plus 2 satellites in large house. Great coverage everywhere.

If you have a large house and are having trouble getting wifi to some of the areas, then the Orrbi RBK853 is the router for you! I have had several routers before this one and none of them could reach the far reaches of my house.The Orbi does it without a problem. There are 63 devices connected to the Orbi and room for plenty more.This is a great product and while a little expensive, is well worth the money in my book!

I purchased this kit for a large ranch house and purchased an additional HD router for a guest house in the backyard using an ethernet wired backhaul. It was fairly easy to setup and configure, including updating the firmware on all 4 devices. It's working great with good coverage in both houses so far!

Our large, sprawling, historic home has defeated every attempt to provide decent wi-fi across the entire house and property. The house evolved over the past 250 years to include all kinds of additions and building materials. Repeaters didn't work, hi-gain antennas and boosters didn't work and ethernet cable could only be run to certain areas. I came across a review of Synology's RT2600AC and mesh routers. The author had a house with challenges similar to my own, so I decided to give it a try. I had another mesh router system still in the box that I was going to install before calling a commercial networking service, but went ahead and ordered two mesh routers and the RT2600AC. After all the updates were processed the set up was easy and intuitive. I have always dreaded setting up a new router and network but this was unbelievably simple. We have been putting it to a huge test for the past month and nothing has dropped, speed is great. I'm a fan.

This modem/router work great! We have a large house, several televisions, laptops, Alexas and phones. We are getting fantastic coverage, without any of buffering issues we used to have. I would highly recommend it.
